Our Mission
Duchesnay's mission is to work at filling the existing gap in terms of scientific research, education and evidence-based information, and to develop safe an effective pharmacological solutions for use during pregnancy and lactation.
In 1995, Under the leadership of the Boivin family, this mission was made official by the founding of the Chaire pharmaceutique Famille Louis Boivin: médicaments, grossesse et allaitement (Drugs in pregnancy and lactation), of the Faculty of pharmacy at the University of Montreal (within the Sainte-Justine Hospital), and the support to the Motherisk research and information center at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Our Vision
Since 1992, Duchesnay has been evolving as a research-based pharmaceutical company with the vision to improve women's quality of life of women during pregnancy and lactation while reducing the number of birth defects and impacts on their newborns.
